Dr. S Venkateswaran is the Registrar of Joy University.
Prior to joining the university, he had served as a senior level Group A officer in Government of India for more than 28 years of regular service in various capacities as the Joint Registrar, Dy. Registrar, Chief Administrative Officer, Head of the Office (HOO), DDO, AO, AO, AR, AAO, CPIO etc., in Central Government higher educational and research institutions of national importance like IIIT, IISER, IIM, NIT, CSIR and in a UGC recognized renowned university.
He is a highly motivated and skilled officer, having extensive knowledge and experience in successfully handling general administration, academic administration, HR, establishment matters, legal, finance & accounts, S&P, logistics, admission, examinations, hostels management, campus estate services, enrolment processes, grievances management, RTI, CPGRAMS, scholarships, skilled in various admission process like CAT, CAP, AIEEE, JEE, CSAB, IISERCAT, MSJECAT, AUCET, etc.
He has exhaustive knowledge and experience in accreditation, ranking and recognition process with NAAC, BCI, NBA and NIRF and liaison with AIU, CSIR, DST, DSIR, AICTE, MoE, CFIs, CFTIs etc.
A gold medalist in his MBA Finance, he possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability, and experience to motivate team, handling multiple tasks, ability to analyze the conditions and efficient decision making.
Up to date knowledge about related regulations, statutory compliances, labour laws, academic policies and procedures, gold medal winner in service matter exam/drafting competition and recipient of best employee awards of the Central Government.
He had served in various Govt level committees on administrative, compliance, advisory, screening, peer review and selection committees.
