On May 6, 2025, Joy University organized an enriching industrial visit to the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KNPP), offering students a rare glimpse into India’s premier nuclear energy facility.
The visit provided valuable exposure to nuclear energy production, reactor operations, and safety protocols. This hands-on learning experience deepened students’ understanding of energy science and its real-world applications. We thank the KNPP team for their informative sessions and warm hospitality, making this visit both educational and inspiring.
On May 5, 2025, Joy University came alive with vibrant colors and artistic flair during the Rangoli Competition organized on campus. Students from various departments showcased their creativity and cultural spirit through stunning rangoli designs, turning the venue into a canvas of tradition and imagination.
The event not only celebrated the artistic talents of our students but also promoted teamwork and festive enthusiasm. It was a truly joyful and colorful expression of our rich cultural heritage.
The Design Thinking Hub, in collaboration with the Robotics & Automation Club of Joy University, successfully organized a one-day industrial visit to ISRO Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri, on 2nd May 2025.
The visit provided students with first-hand exposure to India’s advanced space propulsion systems, inspiring curiosity and deepening their understanding of real-world aerospace applications.
On 2nd May 2025, Joy University, in collaboration with the Heartfulness Institute Meditation Club, organized a peaceful and reflective meditation session at the Seminar Hall. This session offered students and faculty a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their inner selves.

The School of Nursing, in association with KIMS Health Hospital, Nagercoil, organized a heartfelt International Nurses Day Celebration on 2nd May 2025 at the Selvam Block, Joy University.
The event, held under the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future.”, featured free health initiatives including liver Fibro Scans and expert medical consultation. It was a wonderful occasion to recognize and honor the unwavering dedication, care, and contributions of nurses to society.
