Professor Dr. Durairaj Sekar is currently working as an Associate Dean School of School of Agricultural Sciences & School of Life & Health Sciences, Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamilnadu, India. He received Bachelor degree from Tamilnadu Agricultural University, Master degree from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India and Doctoral degree from University of Camerino, Italy. He awarded a doctoral fellowship from the Ministry of Italy and University of Camerino, Italy and Post-doctoral research scientist award from International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB, UN), Italy.
Professor Dr. Durairaj Sekar received Extramural Research Grants from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Department of Science and Technology (DST) with funded Research Projects worth 1.2 Crores. He has published more than 71 notable scientific research publications in peer reviewed SCI index journals including the prestigious Nature group journals. He has More than 18 years academic and Research experience. He is currently serving as an editor and reviewer for peer reviewed indexed journals.
Professor Dr. Durairaj Sekar is working on Non-coding RNAs/miRNAs biology and their regulations in Non-communicable diseases like hypertension and diabetes. Recently he received Paul Dudley white International scholar award from American Heart Association (AHA) 2021 and Best faculty and Researcher award (2019) from Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai, India.

Dr. A. M. Shanmugharaj is currently employed as the Professor in the School of Design and Mechanical Engineering (Materials Science Division), Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India. He obtained his Doctoral degree (Ph. D) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. After his Ph. D, he worked as post doctoral research scientist for 5 years in the “Department of Chemical Engineering, Kyung Hee University, South Korea and Institute of Materials Chemistry and Engineering, Kyushu University, Japan. He was the recipient of prestigious JSPS fellowship in 2007. He has more than 17 years academic research experience in South Korea and India and one year Industrial experience in India.
Professor Dr. A. M. Shanmugharaj received extramural research grants from Naval Research Board (NRB) (Defence Research Development Organization, DRDO) and Department of Science and Technology (DST) with funded Research Projects worth of 71.0 lakhs. In addition, he was also recipient of MSME hackothan 2022 with the start-up fund worth of Rs. 15.0 lakhs. He has also secured research grant worth of Rs. 25.0 lakhs during his tenure in South Korea. He has made 86 notable scientific research publications in peer reviewed SCI index journals including the prestigious RSC publications. His research publications have been cited worldwide receiving total citations of 2904 and h-index 28. He is currently serving as a reviewer for various peer reviewed indexed journals. He is also member in various professional bodies including Indian Society of Analytical Scientists (ISAS), India and Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), London.
The present research interests of Professor Dr. A. M. Shanmugharaj includes nanomaterials for energy storage conversion devices (batteries & supercapacitors), nanocatalyst materials for hydrogen generation and storage, self-healing polymers, ceramic nanocomposites, controlled living radical polymerization, elastomeric and epoxy nanocomposites. His bibliographic profile is included in the “Marquis Who’s Who in the World (2015) and he is also a recipient of best researcher award (2020) from DK International Research Foundation.

Prof. Dr. A. John De Britto

Prof. Dr. A. John De Britto obtained his Degree of Doctor of Philosophy from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. He has completed 34 years of teaching including 28 years of research in St.Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Palayamkottai. He has completed 14 Major Projects and 7 Minor projects funded by TNSCST, UGC, DST, CSIR, ICMR, MOEF, PWD, and ICSSR which include both scientific and socially relevant projects. He has published six books on Environmental Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Personality Development. He also published 220 research articles in National and International Journals. Under his able guidance, 32 research scholars were awarded Ph.D., Degree and 24 were awarded M.Phil., Degree.

He has participated in various International Exchange Programmes, Seminars and Conferences held in countries like Japan (1992, 2000), China (1997, 2009), United Kingdom (1995), USA (1999,2009,2014,2016,2021) Finland (2003), Thailand (2003), Czech Republic (2005), Portugal (2005), Austria (2005), Australia (2007, 2011), Jordan (2012) Denmark (2016) and presented papers.

Prof. Dr. Jomy Joseph is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the School of Design and in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. He has his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala, Masters degree in Manufacturing Technology from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, and Ph.D. in Polymer composites processing from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

Prof. Dr. Jomy Joseph has a teaching experience of more than a decade in the domain of Mechanical Engineering. He is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (MISTE). He has published more than ten research articles in reputed international journals and two book chapters in his areas of research, and has a good number of citations. His areas of research include conducting polymer composites, EMC Design, metal matrix composites and additive manufacturing. He is a reviewer for many reputed conferences as well as for the SCI indexed journal – Sadhana – Academy Proceedings in Engineering Sciences (Springer Nature).

Prof. Dr. V.S. Devadas

Prof. Dr. V.S. Devadas is  a graduate, post graduate and Ph.D. in Horticulture with more than 38 years’ experience in teaching, research, outreach activities, research and academic management. He served the Kerala Agricultural University in various positions for over 34 years and retired as Associate Director of Research. Thereafter he worked in   Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai,  College of Horticulture (Central Agricultural University) Thenzawl- Mizoram,  Karunya University, Coimbatore and in Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture , Pollachi. He held positions like Professor, Head of Research Stations, Associate Director of Research, Dean and HoD.

He has guided 29 students, published 11 books, 72 research papers in reputed journals;  and also developed and released 10 improved vegetable varieties during his career. Dr Devadas implemented several national and international collaborative projects.

Prof. Dr. Alasakani Karthik is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Arts & Natural Sciences and in the Department of Sciences at Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. He has his Integrated Masters’ Degree in Mathematics from University of Hyderabad and Ph.D. from Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad.

Prof. Dr. Karthik specialises in the field of Bio-Fluid Mechanics and in particular, his interests lie in the study of blood flow in human arteries. He has published three articles in reputed journals and one book chapter in Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics. He has presented his work at various National and International conferences. Dr. Karthik has qualified GATE (Mathematics) and the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS-SET). He has attended the Summer Workshop in Applied Mathematics conducted by TIFR-CAM, Bengaluru. Previously, he worked at the Bhavan’s Vivekananda College, Hyderabad as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics for eight months. His other interests are travelling, yoga, reading non-fiction and cooking.

Prof. Dr. Sandhya H V is currently serving as an Associate Dean and Professor in School of Law at Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. She got her B.A.L. LL.B degree from Hassan and LL.M in International Law as Specialization subject from Manasagangotri, Mysore, Karnataka. She completed her Doctoral degree from Karnatak University, Dharwad, Karnataka on the topic “A Critical Study on Harmonization of Patent Laws and Its Impact on Indian Legal System”. Before joining Joy University, she practiced as an Advocate in the District Court of Belgaum enriching her professional experience in the field of law.

She worked as a faculty in various law colleges in Karnataka having teaching experience of 20 years. She was the Principal of R. L. Law College, Belgaum, a Government aided college and one of the most prestigious Law Colleges of Karnataka, established in the year 1939. She has participated and presented research papers in various national and state level conferences and seminars on the subject of International Humanitarian Law, Importance of Wildlife Conservation, Maintenance and Property Rights of Women, Family, Women and Contemporary Issues, Water Rights as Human Rights. She has published her research articles on “TRIPs Compliant-Indian Patent Law”, TRIPs and Indian Patent Law: An Assessment”, “Patients Win Patent War: Novartis Ag v. Union of India” in Journal of Supreme Court Cases, Karnataka Law Journal and LEGAL OPUS.

Prof. Dr. Jaffino Stargen D is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, School of Arts & Natural Sciences at Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. He obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. Afterwhich he did his PhD on Theoretical Physics in the Department of Physics, IIT Madras, Chennai. After his doctoral research, Dr. Jaffino did his Post-doctoral research at various reputed institutes in India and abroad: IIT Bombay, Mumbai; Chennai Mathematical Institute, Siruseri, Chennai; IISER Mohali, Punjab; and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA.

Prof. Dr. Jaffino Stargen’s research area broadly involves investigating semi-classical aspects of gravity. Specifically on investigating the possibilities of realizing near-horizon black hole physics scenarios in laboratory settings, through the experimental realization of Unruh effect. His recent proposal on the experimental verification of Unruh effect has been published in Physical Review Letters  https://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.129.111303). Apart from research, Dr. Jaffino is broadly interested in reading historical aspects of physics, and its relevance to technology, literature, politics, and the advancement of society in general.

Prof. Dr. Shyju Wilson is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing & Information Systems under the School of Computational Intelligence at Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. He completed his Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Rourkela, Orissa and Ph.D. in Machine Learning from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Telangana. He published his research works in highly reputed journals and conferences in IEEE. His areas of research interest spanned over Machine learning, Dictionary learning, Artificial intelligence etc.He had achieved good score in GATE, qualified UGC-NET and availed fellowship during doctoral research.

He started his teaching career as an Adhoc Lecturer at NIT Calicut after completing M.Tech. After completing PhD, He joined Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati, Assam as an Assistant Professor (Regular) and worked there for two years. He also delivered many lectures for IIT students during his doctoral research. He participated in many workshops, conferences etc. and coordinated academic events and activities. His interests in extracurricular activities involve playing Cricket, Football, Badminton and Running.

Prof. Dr. Chithra D Gracia

Prof. Dr. Chithra D Gracia is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing & Information Systems under the School of Computational Intelligence, Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India. She has her Bachelor’s Degree (B.E) in Computer Science and Engineering from Manonmanian Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, Master’s Degree (M.E) in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli.

She has worked as faculty in Engineering Colleges and University in Tamil Nadu and has handled classes in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli. Prior to joining Joy University, she has 12 and 6 years of experience in teaching and research respectively. She is the only recipient of HTRA fellowship (2011 to 2016) in the department of Computer Science and Engineering for pursuing Ph.D at National Institute of Technology Tiruchirapalli from Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD), Government of India.

She has presented her research papers in leading international and national conferences in leading institutions in India.  She has published more than 20 research papers in SCI and SCOPUS indexed International Journals, Conferences and Book chapters of repute in the field of Data Science. She has delivered many invited lectures on Machine Learning, Recommender Systems. She has been a professional facilitator of students and her teaching experience includes experiments on Learner centric teaching and flipped classroom. During her tenure, she was a nominated member in various committees assisting the administration in matters of importance. She is a reviewer of the reputed International journal, IEEE Systems. Her research areas include Machine Learning, Web services, Cloud computing, Fog computing and Edge Computing. She is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (MISTE).

Prof. Dr. Johnsy Rani

Prof. Dr. Johnsy Rani is currently serving as a Professor in the School of Nursing at Joy University, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. She has her Doctoral degree in Community Health Nursing from Apollo College of Nursing, Chennai under The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai in the year 2019. She is presently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Srinivas University, Mangalore, Karnataka. She is a Research co-guide under Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, Srinivas University, Mangalore, and Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tiberwala University, Rajasthan. 

She has a teaching experience of more than 13 years. She has achieved the Best Teacher Award thrice. She is a Life Member of the Christian Medical Association of India (CMAI), the Clinical Nursing Research Society (CNRS), and the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI). She has been a trainer in International projects funded by SAWSO, Norway, and NORAD. She has published about 16 research articles in reputed national and international journals and one book chapter under Jaypee Publications. She has done about 13 invited presentations. She is the editor of the International Journal of Community Health Nursing and the International Journal of Nursing Science Practice and Research.   

She has international work experience as Assistant Professor in Male’, Maldives where she has been involved in Program, curriculum, module, and content development. She has worked as Nodal Officer for the Mentorship program under Mission Niramaya, Uttar Pradesh, and worked for the Quality ranking of nursing colleges by QCI under Mission Niramaya, Uttar Pradesh.

She completed her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Chidambaram and fellowship in clinical diabetology from Ramachandran Diabetic Hospital, Chennai.

She has worked as a General Physician, Consultant Diabetologist in Chennai and in Nagercoil. Some of the services provided by the doctor – Emergency Care, Counselling, Diabetic Management. Her other interests are travelling and cooking.

Prof. Mrityunjay Kumar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Design and in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. He has his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgaum and Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H). Prof. Mrityunjay Kumar has a teaching experience of more than seven years in the domain of Mechanical Engineering. He has published one patent and two research articles. Prof.Dr.Mrityunjay kumar has qualified GATE (Mechanical Engineering) and he was also selected for the world bank project TEQIP-III. He has worked as a coordinator for many workshops and he has also attended more than ten FDPs and workshops.His areas of interest in research are Welding, 3D Printing, Fluid Mechanics and Machine Learning. His other interests are travelling, meditation, yoga, cooking etc.

He has awarded Doctoral and Master degree fellowship from the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

He has also received 8 National and International fellowships/scholarships (from MoE, Govt. of India; Co-Prepare Grant (CAG), IIT Roorkee India, University of Potsdam, Germany; and DAAD, Germany). He has 21+ research publications in International peer-reviewed and SCI journals, conferences, and book chapters. He has significantly valued ~10 publications in peer-reviewed Sustainable Computing: Informatics and Systems, IEEE Access, Water Supply, Desalination and Water Treatment journals. He has supervised 7 M.Tech. thesis and 6 B.E. projects. He has received 3 prestigious Awards (Best Paper/Best Poster/Best Presentation Awards) from prominent organizations.

Prior to joining Joy University, he has served extensively in the academia (Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, and TIT Group of Institution, Bhopal, M.P., India) totaling up his rich experience to 10+ years. Prof. Dr. Jagamohan Meher

Prof. Dr. Jagamohan Meher is currently working as an Assistant Professor – School of Agricultural Sciences, Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India. He received Bachelor degree from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, Master degree from Sambalpur University, Burla, Odisha India and Doctoral degree from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur, India. He has more than five years teaching experiences in academia before joining Joy University, including stints at Centurion University of Technology and Management and the Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education in India.

He has published more than 15 research articles in journals, book chapters, conferences, and Scopus/SCI journals with international peer review. He has been honoured with two distinguished Awards (Best Paper Awards) from prestigious organisations. He currently works as a peer reviewer and editorial member for indexed journals. He is a Life Member of both the International Association of Engineers and the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (I.I.Ch.E). He has participated in more than 20 faculty development programme and short-term courses offered by IIT, NIT, and other universities.
His research interests include: Food Rheology, Food Rheology, Thermal and non-thermal processing of foods, post-harvest technology of fruits and vegetables, Minimal processing of food and Process modelling and optimization.

Further, he also worked as Postdoctoral Research Associate at North Carolina State University, USA. He has total five years of postdoctoral experience in research related to Plant biology.
He has published in various peer reviewed journal. His research work and area of interest revolves around Plant-Pathogen interaction, herbicide resistance, conventional molecular genetics and Bioinformatics.

Prof. Dr. Ramswaroop Saini is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Life and Health Sciences, Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamilnadu, India. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from the University of Rajasthan in the field of Biotechnology. He completed his Doctoral degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in the field of Plant Genetics and Developmental Biology. He qualified GATE, CSIR-UGC-NET and CSIR-UGC-NET-JRF and availed the fellowship during doctoral research. He visited the United State of America (USA) to attend “the 28th International Conference on Arabidopsis Research (ICAR) 2017” held on 19 to 23rd June 2017 in St. Louis Missouri, USA.

Prior to joining Joy University, he has total 10 + years of experience in research and Academics (Kalinga University Raipur, Chhattisgarh). He has been involved in establishing the set up of Green House, Vermicompost unit and Mushroom cultivation facilities on the premises of Kalinga University Raipur. He has experience in conducting Hands-on training programs, Workshops and summer internships in the field of molecular biology, Microbial and Biochemical Techniques.
He has published 7 research papers and 1 book chapter (Elsevier) in reputed International and National journals with a good impact factor. During Doctoral research he examined the role of various Biotic and Abiotic factors such as parental age, temperature and nitric oxide on Meiotic Recombination (MR) rates in model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.  His research interests include Plant Genetics, Developmental Biology, Plant Molecular Biology, Stress Biology, Meiotic Recombination, Plant Growth hormones and Nitric oxide Signaling.

Prof. Dr. Priyanka Sarkar Ghosh

Priyanka Sarkar Ghosh is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Life and Health Sciences, Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India. She has completed her M.Tech (Biotechnology) degree from National Institute of Technology Durgapur, India and was awarded with the institute gold medal. She has qualified the prestigious DBT-BET examination conducted by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and received fellowship for her doctoral studies from DBT. He completed his B.Sc (H) degree in Mathematics from the University of Calcutta, West Bengal and his M.Sc in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics, NIT Rourkela, Odisha. Afterward, Mr. Maiti joined as a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Mathematics, IIT Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, and submitted his thesis in 2023.

Prof. Maiti’s research area lies in Fixed Point Theory and its Application. He submitted his thesis entitled “On Common Fixed Points of Set-valued Maps on Metric Spaces with Graph and Applications.” Moreover, his research covers the generalized Caputo fractional differential equation, q-analogue Bernstein operator, invariant best approximation theorems, and best proximity theory. He has published two research articles in reputed journals and has already communicated another three research articles. He qualified for GATE (Mathematics) and IIT-JAM (Mathematics). He attends several workshops and conferences. His other interests are cooking, yoga, and reading storybooks.

She has her Bachelor’s Degree (B.E) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manonmanian Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli and Master’s Degree (M.E) in Control and Instrumentation from Anna University, Chennai .She has a teaching experience of more than 16 years in the domain of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She is a Life Member of The Institution of Engineers (India). She has published more than 8 research articles in reputed International Journals. Her areas of research include Control Engineering and Signal Processing. During her service as an IQAC Coordinator, she has played a key role in planning and execution of the goals towards quality enhancement and sustenance. Prof. Dr. F. Dinusha Masil currently holds the esteemed position of Assistant Professor in the School of Law at Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India. She embarked on her educational journey progressing to achieve an extensive academic portfolio that includes qualifications such as B.A. BL. from the Government Law College, Tirunelveli, an MBA from Alagappa University, Karaikudi, M.A in Criminology and Police Science, M.Sc. in Psychology, and two LLM degrees from esteemed universities. The pinnacle of her academic achievements is her Ph.D. in Business Administration-Commerce (Interdisciplinary) which she was awarded by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli in 2022. Additionally, she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Law.

Before joining Joy University, she practiced as an Advocate in the District Court of Kanniyakumari District, enriching her professional experience in the field of law from March 2010 to May 2015. She furthered her academic career by serving as an Assistant Professor in Thulasi College of Law for Women, Vallanadu, Thoothukudi District before her current tenure.

Throughout her academic career, she has shown keen interest in pertinent societal issues. This is reflected in her research projects which revolve around the protection of women from domestic violence, corporate laws concerning the Board of Directors’ role in company management, and the imperative topic of stress management for women in the informal sector. She has also made significant academic contributions by publishing six research articles in various esteemed journals. Prof. Swikriti Sanyal is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Arts and Natural Sciences at Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. She has completed her Bachelors (B.A.) and Masters (M.A.) in English Literature from University of Calcutta, West Bengal. She has also completed MPhil in English Literature from Rabindra Bharati University, West Bengal and qualified for the UGC National Eligibility Test for Lectureship. Following this, she joined as a PhD scholar and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and is on the verge of submitting her thesis. Her research area focuses on Disability Studies and she works on life writings of women with lived experiences of mental distress. She has published one research article in The Rupkatha Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities and presented her research work at multiple National and International Conferences, seminars, and workshops on Disability Studies.  

Prof. Sanyal has previously worked as an Assistant Professor of English in the Department of English at Women’s Christian College (WCC), Chennai for 18 months. Prior to that, she has worked as a Guest Lecturer in the Department of English at several colleges, affiliated to the University of Calcutta, West Bengal. She has also been a Teaching Assistant for various NPTEL online courses offered by IIT Madras in recent years. Her areas of academic interest include Communicative English, Business English, Nineteenth Century Literature, Disability Studies, Life Writing, Gender Studies and Critical Theory.

Apart from her teaching and research engagements, Prof. Sanyal volunteers at animal shelters and advocates for animal rights. She is also interested in creative writing and has a poetry blog. She specializes in child-health nursing. Her academic project on a quasi-experimental study to evaluate the efficacy of using ice cubes before intramuscular injection for pain reduction using a numerical pain rating scale in children aged 8 to 12 years is still recommended by many university students. She has been a member of TNAI and an active participant in SNA activities.

She received the best academic achievement award and best student award during her course of study in nursing. With her passion for managing students and management studies. She earned her MBA in Human Resources from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. She has hosted/presented papers and publications at many international conferences. He secured UGC- Junior Research Fellowship and National Eligibility Test for Lectureship (UGC-NET-JRF) in December 2011 and was promoted to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in July 2014. He has done his Post-Doctoral Research on ‘Professionalizing Siddha Medicine’ in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Madras, Chennai. He was a part of the ‘AyurYog’ Project, conducted by the Department of South Asian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies, University of Vienna, Austria. He has his B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degree in Physics from Vidyasagar University and Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, respectively. After that he availed MHRD scholarship and completed his Ph.D. degree from Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
Dr. Sourav specialises in the field of experimental condensed matter physics, Nanotechnology and Nanoscale Device fabrication. In particular, his interests lie in the study of charge transport properties of one dimensional metal-oxide nanostructures such as nanotube, nanowire etc. and implementing these nanostructures for several applications such as gas/humidity sensing, UV- visible photodetector etc. He has published four first-authored articles in reputed SCI/Scopus indexed journals such as Nanoscale Advances, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics etc. He has presented his work at various National/International conferences and achieved three awards for best poster and oral presentation (ICNAN’19, SRM- ICONN 2021 etc.). Dr. Sourav has qualified GATE, JEST and UGC- NET exams. He has attended several Workshops such as Indian Nanoelectronics User Program (INUP) at CENSE, IISC Bangalore and Short Term Course on "Recent Trends in Nano-Electronics and VLSI" at NIT Kurukshetra etc. His future research interests are Semiconductor Device Physics, Transition Metal Oxides, Oxide Electronics, Solar Energy, Nanoelectronics and Flexible Electronics etc. and not limited to these. He is open to collaborating with related projects that helps to understand the fundamental physics and application of nanomaterials. Prof. Dr. Nishant Kumar

Dr. Nishant Kumar is working as an Assistant Professor (Philosophy), Joy University. Before joining here, he has worked as an Assistant Professor and Research Associate at Karnavati School of Research, Karnavati University. He has completed B.Sc. from Hansraj College, and M.A. from Department of Buddhist Studies (University of Delhi). After that, he availed HTRA fellowship (JRF and SRF, 2016-2020) to pursue his Ph.D. from Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His Ph.D. thesis critically examines the interrelation among cognition, consciousness, and self from the Mahāyāna and Theravāda standpoints. He is interested to explore cross-cultural Indian and Western philosophy, which he thinks can give a new insight to the philosophical problems. He has developed analytical skills to continue his research works.
His research areas and research interests are Buddhist Philosophy, Philosophy of Mind, Indian Philosophy, The Notion of Free Will, and Ethics. He has one International Publication in Philosophia Journal (Springer; Scopus and Web of Science Indexed). He is working on several other papers for possible publication, which deals with the ontological and epistemological issues in Buddhism and Nyāya, the ethical issues in Artificial Intelligence from Buddhist perspective, and the problem of free will and self in Buddhist philosophy. Apart from research, he likes listening music, playing cricket and reading mostly non- fictional books.

Prof. Dr. Ashish Kumar Nayak

Prof. Dr. Ashish Kumar Nayak has recently submitted his dissertation to fulfill the requirement for his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering (Specialization: Environmental Engineering) at IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal. Before that, he had done B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from NIT Rourkela, Odisha and M. Tech in Civil Engineering (Specialization: Environmental Engineering) from IIT Guwahati, Assam. He has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at BPUT Odisha for one year and as a Teaching Assistant for the NPTEL course at IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal for four months. He also got the prestigious GATE fellowship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India.

He has published his research findings in reputed international civil and environmental engineering journals such as Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Environmental Engineering (American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)) and others. He has also written book chapters for international publishers, such as Springer and Taylor & Francis. According to Google Scholar, his work has been cited over 389 times.

His primary research interests include water and wastewater treatment, adsorption, process optimization and modeling, waste recycling and composting technology. He is not limited to the above interests; he is open to collaborating with environmental projects that address real-world problems.

Prof. Dr. Abhishek Kumar Shrivastava

Dr. Abhishek Kumar Shrivastava is currently serving as an Associate Professor (CSE) in the School of Computational Intelligence, Joy University, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India.

He has completed his B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engg. from SMIT-Sikkim, M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engg. from IIT, Dhanbad and Ph.D. in Electronics Engg. from IIT(ISM), Dhanbad.
He has 15 research publications in the peer reviewed international journals and conferences and has one book chapter in his area of research with good number of citations. His area of research includes Opto-Electronic Materials and Memristor Based Artificial Neural Networks (ANN).
Currently he is working on a DST funded project under SERB-CRG (Core Research Grant) with sanctioned amount of above Rs.50 lakhs. A national patent has been filed and is under consideration. He is a member of IEEE since last 12 years. He has also contributed in administrative capacity as Associate Dean (Student Affairs) while working at KL University, Hyderabad.

He did his M.Sc. in Physics from University Department of Physics (UDP), University of Mumbai, and his B.Sc. from The D.G. Ruparel College, University of Mumbai.
His research interest lies in the area of Neutron Star Physics. He is mainly interested in Pulsar Glitches, Gravitational Waves and other neutron star related phenomena. He has published two papers in international journals. Also, he has presented his work at several national and international conferences and schools.
Apart from academics, he likes reading, writing, cooking and cycling. He likes playing different games which include Football, Cricket & Squash.

Prof. Dr. Shivangi Priya

Dr. Shivangi Priya is working as an Assistant Professor of English in the School of Arts & Natural Sciences, Joy University. Before joining Joy University, she worked with Manipal University Jaipur for a year. Dr. Priya has pursued her doctoral research from BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, and her thesis explores the Indian language policy and planning in the context of the Maithili language. In 2016, she received the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship from the University of Utah. Dr. Priya has also worked as a JRF(Junior Research Fellow) in UGC major project in English language teaching at BITS Pilani, Pilani campus (2014-2015).

Her research interests include sociolinguistics, language policy and planning, multilingual education, linguistic landscapes, linguistic anthropology and qualitative research methodology. She has published her work in national and international journals. She has also presented her work at prestigious national and international conferences.

Her research area and interest are solar MHD, astrophysics, sun- earth connection, space weather and meteorology.  She has 2 International publications in Solar Physics (Springer), and The Royal Astronomical Society. She has attended conferences and workshops at Inter University for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, IIT (BHU), Varanasi and 35th meeting of the Astronomical Society of India, B. M. His main research areas are Hydroelasticity, Wave-Structure Interaction Problems, Boundary Element Analysis, and Applied Mathematics. He has published around 13 research papers in these areas in various international journals. Further, he has presented his research papers at several national and international conferences in India and USA, South Korea, Turkey, and Australia. He has received the best poster presentation award from NCASM-2020, a conference organized by Chitkara University, Punjab, during September 24-25, 2020.
