Joy University has been honored with the prestigious "Best Emerging University in South India" award at the Pride of Nation Awards 2023. The award ceremony, organized by Asia Today Research & Media, took place on 30th September 2023 at Hotel ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad.

The accolade was presented by Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana & Puducherry, to Dr. S.A. Joy Raja, Chancellor of Joy University and Chairman of the Rajas Group of Institutions. This recognition highlights the university's commitment to excellence in education and its remarkable contributions to shaping the future of higher learning in South India.

Titans of Tamil Nadu Award for Excellence

Joy University has been conferred with the prestigious Galata Media Awards – "Titans of Tamil Nadu" for Excellence in Promoting Higher Education – Science & Technology under the category of Quality Education, Best Infrastructure & Student Amenities. The award ceremony was held at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai, and was graced by the Honourable Minister for Dairy Development, Mr. Mano Thangaraj on June 7, 2025.. The event saw the participation of around 1000 higher secondary students, parents, and educators from Government and Government-aided institutions.

Bronze Medal at All India Inter-University Beach Wrestling Championship

S. Vignesh, a first-year BA Tamil student from Joy University, achieved a remarkable feat by securing the bronze medal in the 70kg Beach Wrestling category at the All India Inter-University Beach Wrestling Championship. The competition took place on January 18, 2025, at Kovalam Beach, Chennai, and was jointly organized by SRM University and AMET University.

4th Place Achievement at Rapid Prototyping Competition

The Rapid Prototyping Competition (RPC 2024) was hosted at SJBIT, Bangalore, on 22 August 2024. This prestigious event saw an incredible 1068 entries in its initial phase, showcasing innovative ideas and groundbreaking concepts from across the nation. After rigorous evaluation, only 12 finalist teams were selected to present their projects to a panel of some of India's most eminent personalities in the field of computer science.

The students from our university demonstrated exceptional creativity and skill, securing an impressive 4th position among the 1068 teams. Their outstanding performance is a testament to their hard work and ingenuity.

First Prize in Dance Competition at Inter-State Collegiate Meet

Joy University proudly congratulates the student team JASPRIT AGIES from the School of Computational Intelligence for securing third position in the Phase 1 finals of the prestigious TANSAM Hackathon held at Excel Engineering College, Namakkal. Their innovative solution on predictive load management for power grids earned recognition among top entries.
